Likes: Any food, a good gallop on the beach , scratches with her friends.
Dislikes; Not a massive fan of mints - especially extra strong ones !
Fun Fact: Polly is the same breed as the former Queens favourite breed. Polly used to be a Show Pony and won lots of rosettes.
Annie

Annie; AKA Annie Spannie

Breed: Spanish Coloured X Appaloosa
Colour; Skewbald (Brown and white)
Age: 16
Likes: People and a good groom.
Dislikes: Most other horses, especially Misty.
Fun Fact: Annie is mum to our beautiful youngster Cookie. She is an awesome mum - we were not too sure given she dislikes most horses.
Misty

Misty : AKA: Misty- Moo
Height: 14.2hh
Breed: Connemara
Colour : Flea Bitten Grey (White )
Age: 15
Likes; Mints, apples, carrots, regular jumping, jumping very fast.
Dislikes; Annie, Alot of treats (very fussy).
Fun Facts: Misty has made a fabulous recovery from some quite significant injuries before we got her. She originally came all the way over from ireland.
Violet

Violet AKA: Vi-Pie
Height: 34 inches
Breed: American Miniature
Colour: Dun
Age: 6
Likes: Breaking into fields she not supposed to be in. Stealing snacks and treats. generally causing havoc.
Dislikes: Being told what to do, standing still for very long. Not being in the fields she wants to be in.
Fun fact: Violet is an excellent jumper and can jump almost her own height !
Violet has also been trained to pull and tiny cart.
Cookie

Cookie AKA: Cookie- Monster
Height: 14.2 currently - still growing
Breed: British Sports horse
Colour: Palomino Pintaloosa
Age: 1
Likes: Her troublesome auntie Violet, treats, watching all the others do training or being ridden.
Dislikes; Very little, we've not found anything so far !
Fun Fact: Cookie is so brave she walked straight into the wagon as soon as we opened the ramp ! Cookie was born here and we helped her mum Annie to birth her as she was pretty big with very long legs !
Leo

Leo AKA: Big Man

Breed: British Sports horse
Colour : Bright Bay
Age: 9
Likes: Being a baffoon, messing about, chilling, chasing Cookie, chilling some more.
Dislikes: Not getting attention.
Fun Fact: Leo was bred to be a superstar event horse like his mum, but was far too chilled and didn't fancy that career, he loves being a field potato now, chilling most of the day, it suits him perfectly.

Likes: Getting upto mischief with her Side Kick violet. Mini Mahem.
Dislikes: Not getting into the feed bins !
Fun Fact: Una spent most of her life working for a pony party company. She also has a look of Tina Turner we think .
Meet the Dandelion Days Human Team
Charlotte Appleton
Trauma informed coach and CPD Course Facilitator
Charlotte is founder of Dandelion Days, aswell as a CPD course facilitator and Trauma Informed Coach. She is a Dentist by profession and so has lots of experience helping both adults and children. Charlotte has worked for the NHS for 20 years in both general practice, secure settings and High secure mental hospitals.
Charlotte started Dandelion Days as she wanted to help people make positive changes in their lives and enable adults and children alike to cope in todays busy lifestyle.
Her sole aim is to help people improve their lives and share the magic of being around horses with those around her.
She is fully aware of the positive benefits being around horses can have and wants others to be able to experience this too.
She loves the CPD accredited course, as there is lots of science in it !
Emma McDonald
BHS Qualified Instructor
Emma is so experienced with horses, not only has she had her own her whole life, but she is BHS II qualified instructor aswell.
Emma teaches our Pony Passion, Home School Hero's as well as any day activities we run through school holidays and special events.
Emma is amazing with all children and loves supporting SEND children and seeing them blossom through our programmes.
She has worked in children's care homes and is a former Myerscough college tutor, bringing experience with children's needs as well as educational background.
Emma has a wonderful ability to engage children, support them, challenge them to take the next step and encourage them be comfortable in themselves. She builds their confidence and self esteem and loves to see children excell themselves, whatever that looks like for each individual child.
All in all, were super lucky to have her !
Sue Mayron
Instructor
Sue is a qualified teacher for both primary and secondary age children. Sue currently teaches online, helping children gain their GCSE’s through virtual school. She enjoys teaching children that cannot access mainstream education, watching them flourish and go onto their next steps.
Sue is animal mad with horses and dogs of her own and loves spending time with children and animals.
