Wild Icelandic Horses

"Awesome Me" Programme

6 week childrens course to support emotional and mental wellbeing. 

We offer our 6 week trauma informed courses for children. 

​

We help our wonderful young people to develop an understanding of how  and why their bodies are behaving to stress and worries and give them skills and strategies to be able to manage this effectively in their day to day lives. 

​

With a trauma imformed approach and helping young ones get armed with tools to support and help them through the future, this is a great investment into your child's mental wellbeing for now as well as the future. 

​

We support children to build self confidence, resilience, strategies to support mental wellbeing, emotional regualtion and learn about healthy boundaries. All these skills support them moving forwards in life and through to adult hood.  

​

The programme runs for 6 weeks and is 2 hrs per week in a small group setting. 

​

Home Ed Hero's

Weekly Sessions for Home Educated youngsters

Weekly term time sessions specifically developed for local home schooled children. 

​

Semi structured and child led, we cover a range of activities, animal based interactions, learning and mental wellbeing.


Encouraging experiential learning, hand on skills, confidence, self esteem, resilience  and social skills. 

​

Each week will cover a new aspect of horse knowledge. care or management as well as hands on time with the ponies, time in naute and other activities.  

​

Sessions run on a 6 weekly basis, through term time. easch session is 1.5 hrs . 

​

Availability: Thurs 1.45 - 2.15pm

​

Cost £90 per 6 week block (£15 per week) payable in advance.

Vet Petting a Horse
Horse Whisperer

Pony Passion 

Afterschool Club for Pony / Horse Mad youngsters

Pony Passion is an after school club for horse mad youngsters aged 5-17. 

​

Every session includes hands on care of the ponies and piggies, and new topics each week of horse management. 

​

Work towards badges and achievements. 

​

Run by BHS qualified instructors, your youngster is sure to get the very best knowledge and experience. 

​

We aim for young people to build friendships with ponies and others, enhancing social skills, getting fresh air and enjoying animals and nature. 

​

Sessions run in term time blocks (6-7 weeks) 

​

Thurs 4.30 - 6pm 

​

Cost £72 (6 weeks) or £84 (7 weeks) 

(£12 per 1.5 hr sesison )

One to One Support for Young People 

121 support for ages 5-18

For some people, group work may not be right for them, so we offer our courses and sessions on a 121 basis. 

​

The sessions can be taiolerd to the young persons needs, or follow one of our more structured programmes. 

​

121 support included a trained facilitator as well as exclusive use of the facilities to support their healing journey and self development in privacy. 

​

HOLIDAY FUN 

Holiday fun sesisons for ages 5-17

Through the school holidays we offer a range of fun days. 

​

Some are funded by Sefton Council and the Dept of Educaion for Sefton school attending youngsters in receipt of benefits related free school meals (Sefton HAF) 

​

All sessions are open to anyone and we welcome those with SEN. We have a wonderful group of volunteers who offer support in these sessions aletting the youngsters ahve so much fun. 

​

A range of activities, ponies fun, games, crafts and of course making friends. 

​

Sessions are often themed depending on time of year. 

​

Dates : Variable 

Cost: Free (HAF eligible) - £45 for 4 hrs including lunch.

EQUI - ZEN

2 session Mental Wellbeing Course for Lancashire Youngsters

Generously funded by Red Rose Responding and The Community Foundation Lancashire, we are excited to offer our 2 session programme, Equi - Zen. 

​

Sessions are for 3 hours and cover a range of our trauma informed sessions, such as healthy boundaries and emotional understanding. 

​

We aim to build confidence, emotional understanding, resilience and self esteem. 

​

Who is eleigble :  Young people 7-25 who currently live in LANCASHIRE. 

​

Cost: FREE to young people in LANCASHIRE 

​

Dates: (start date and sessions run same time for 2 consecutive weeks ) 

​
