Awesome Me - 6 weeks

We have worked in partnership with Sefton Children's and Adolescent Mental Health Services for 2 years now. We have supported groups of  vulnerable young people to access a kind of support that is experiential and connective to allow them to access nervous system regulation tools, connection and coregulation with the help of our therapy ponies.  We have recently also supported a group of young people with learning difficulties, allowing them to have experiences usually difficult for them to access.

Community Foundation Lancashire

SEN Children

All Year

We support many local children with additional needs. They truly bloom here at Dandelion Days and often go from tentatively hiding in mums coat, to confidently helping new children find the muck heap and hay barn. Truly magical to watch their development and growth in an environment that supports them and their needs.

Southport Tragedy Support

2024 and ongoing

In the wake of the horrific incident just a few miles down the road, we immediately jumped to work to offer those affected a sanctuary to process what had happened.

We ran multiple free quiet sessions with the ponies, we welcomed those who had responded : police, ambulance, nurses, Drs aswell as the families affected and those from the local area who were affected. We cannot thank our volunteers enough who all came to support and give their time to help our local community.  We continue to work alongside those affected. Together we are stronger.
