Service Description
The benefits of animal therapy is widely recognised for a large number of people. Nursing homes especially benefit having animals visit to allow residents to engage and enjoy visits. Research suggests the benefits of horse visits to nursing homes range from boosting self esteem, engagement, as well as reducing anxiety and depression amongst residents. Our miniature horse Violet loves to visit elderly care homes to spread some joy and happiness. She can visit (with her human minions) for 1 or 2 hours. Ideally suited for larger areas either outside gardens or inside communal areas . She loves cuddling and attention and enjoys spreading some joy .
